This DIY is very easy to make, so if you aren’t the lucky winner of this ornament string light or just want to make your own, you can. All you need is a strand of Christmas string lights, hollow globe ornaments of your choice, and super glue. The mini light strings can be any type or color. We used wide angle LED battery powered Christmas lights so it can be used without worrying about where the nearest outlet is located and the light is better dispersed. Some Christmas lights will give you more of a pin prick look, so pick depending on your preferences. Be sure the ornaments you want to use have removable hangers, as that is the first step. We managed to find ornaments with necks the same diameter as the string’s individual LEDs.

Once your ornaments are ready, stretch out your light string and plan out which individual bulbs you want to cover. We’re leaving a few bulbs bare so there’s still plenty of light shining out. Once you have your plan, cover one side of the plastic base of the string light bulb in super glue then press it into the neck of the ornament. Give it some time to fully dry before moving to the next ornament. And that’s it! Your ornament string light is ready for Christmas morning.
