PLT Solutions Sensor LED High Bay Fixtures

Are you looking to upgrade your linear high bays with a motion sensor? PLT Solutions is proud to introduce a line of sensor LED high bay products. Our remote control allows you to program various settings and dimming modes easily. Five product SKUs give you a variety of options:

  • 130 Watt SKU provides 18,000 lumens, a 250 Watt metal halide equivalent.

  • 210 Watt SKU is about 29,000 lumens, comparable to a 400 Watt metal halide.

  • 300 Watt SKU gives you 40,000 lumens, a 1000 Watt equivalent.

The first four SKUs are the same 2-foot length size, and the fifth one is a 4-foot length. They all provide 120-degrees of light distribution. They are remarkably bright fixtures; we have a few of them up in our warehouse at 30 feet. The 130 Watt versions, 18,000 lumens, provide a brightly lit area. Mount fixtures up to 50 feet, with the sensors giving you a diameter of about 12 feet. And, as you lower the fixture down to even a level as low as 10 feet, you will be able to expand the radius up to about 50 feet.

The Sensor

The sensor is not only a motion sensor but also a daylight harvesting sensor. That means that in environments with natural light across the facade, the sensor can pick up the amount of light around the fixture, and in specific modes, it will keep the luminaire turned off when there is enough light.

The sensor installs easily as one, two, three!

  1. Remove the small knockout in the fixture.

  2. Install the sensor with a few turns without any hard wiring or removing the fixture.

  3. Set up the specs you desire with the remote control.

Unlike traditional sensors, these can be installed in seconds. If you have 400 fixtures, we can all do the math and see the time and money savings for the installation. Even after installation, you can make changes quickly. Typically, most sensors are hardwired, costing time and money to make changes. So instead, make changes with the remote anytime. The remote has a 30 to 35-foot range, so there is no need for a ladder.

You are in control of the settings utilizing the different modes. For example, you can set the occupancy, determine the level you want the fixture to come on, and set the dimming percentage from 10% to 100%. You can also specify how long you want the luminaire to be on before you start shutting it off, like 30 seconds up to 30 minutes. It is effortless to control with the remote.

Each fixture needs to be powered on to program it, and the programming is straightforward. Point and click the line of sight to each luminaire as long as you’re within 30 to 35 feet away. Quickly and easily changing the settings with the remote will save time and money on labor.

Additional Features and Certifications

All of our fixtures come with the v-hooks that you can easily attach to the back of this fixture and suspend with jack chains. The 130 Watt and the 210 Watt models offer 4000 or 5000 Kelvin options. The 300 Watt is 5000 Kelvin only. These fixtures are DLC 5.1 Premium rated, meeting all the qualifications to ensure the best energy-efficient fixture.
