How to Enter
To earn an entry into the giveaway, participants leave a comment on the contest blog post blog.1000bulbs.com/home/energy-star-lighting-sweepstakes and provide an email through the Rafflecopter app. Participant name and email address are required in order for the winner to be notified. All entries must comply with the corresponding social platforms terms of service. Any entry that fails to do so will not be eligible to earn a contest entry.
Dates of Drawing
Each winner will be chosen at random from all of the contest entries received from April 4, 2016 until the drawing. The drawing for the first custom ENERGY STAR light bulb package is April 25, 2016. The drawing for the second custom ENERGY STAR light bulb package is May 23, 2016. The grand prize drawing is June 20, 2016. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Registering multiple accounts in an attempt to manipulate the giveaway will disqualify all of your entries. 1000Bulbs.com reserves the right to disqualify any applicant at their own discretion.
Notification of Winner
Winners will be notified by email within 2 calendar days of being selected. The winner must respond to our email and mailing address along with a list of qualifying ENERGY STAR products with a retail value up to the value of the prize package. If the winner fails to respond, provide a valid mailing address, or provide a list of qualifying products within 10 business days, the winner will forfeit the prize. 1000Bulbs.com will make only two attempts to contact the winner by sending two email messages to the winner within that 10-day period. 1000Bulbs.com is not responsible for any kind of communications failure that prevents that email message from reaching the winner. If any prize notification or any prize is undeliverable, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner from the pool of all eligible entries. No substitution of prizes is permitted except by 1000Bulbs.com, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prizes won by minors will be awarded in name of parent or guardian. All taxes on prizes, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of a prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winner assumes all liability for any damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the promotion or by the acceptance and/or use of any prize, and release 1000Bulbs.com from any such liability. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the winner's name, city, state, likeness, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation or notice.
Conditions
1000Bulbs.com is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic, or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged, or ineligible. All entries, including but not limited to images or videos submitted become the property of 1000Bulbs.com. Participants agree to allow full usage of submitted photos or video to be used at 1000Bulbs.com discretion.
Eligibility
The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States. Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received. Employees and consultants of 1000Bulbs.com, its sponsor(s), its advertisers, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and members of the immediate families of any of the aforementioned are ineligible. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.

Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Service Lighting & Electrical, dba 1000Bulbs.com whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this sweepstakes promotion. 1000Bulbs.com reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes promotion any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules. Entrants agree to abide by all of the policies listed on our Terms of Use page, and accept that any policy violations may result in being disqualified for this giveaway. 1000Bulbs.com will ship the prize to the winner via FedEx or email, and 1000Bulbs.com is not responsible for any failures by FedEx to successfully deliver the prize, or any failure of the winner to successfully accept the shipment. Only one prize shipment will be attempted per winner.
