2015 NPPD LED Light Bulb Rebate Program
If you live in the Cornhusker state and are considering upgrading the lights to LED lights, you're in luck. NPPD, the Nebraska Public Power District, is offering residents within its service area the opportunity to get big savings on LED light bulbs through the end of 2015. Here are the details of the program:
Purchase LED bulbs - 60 watt, 75 watt or 100 watt equivalent light bulbs qualify
60 watt equal Soft White (2700K)
Curtis Mathes Energy Star LED bulb (10yr warranty) - $1.99 after rebate
NaturaLED Energy Star LED bulb (3yr warranty) - $2.49 after rebate
Cree Standard Energy Star bulb (10yr warranty) - $4.97 after rebate
60 watt equal Daylight (5000K)
Kobi 800 Lumen LED bulb (5yr warranty) - $3.49 after rebate
Cree 4Flow Energy Star bulb (3yr warranty) - $3.97 after rebate
Cree Standard Energy Star bulb (10yr warranty) - $5.97 after rebate
75 watt equal
Kobi Soft White (2700K) LED bulb - $7.75 after rebate
Kobi Cool White (4100K) LED bulb - $4.99 after rebate
Kobi Daylight (5000K) LED bulb - $9.98 after rebate
100 watt equal
Cree Soft White (2700K) LED bulb - $14.97 after rebate
Cree Daylight (5000K) LED bulb - $15.97 after rebate
Please note that you can only get a rebate on up to 15 LED bulbs
Fill out and send in the rebate form within 90 days of purchase along with purchase receipt

It's also worth noting that the led lights you're getting a rebate on shouldn't be used for resale. The idea may sound tempting but the goal is to help you save on your electric bill as well as reduce the overall load of homeowners lighting on the power grid.
