Ceiling LED Panel Lights for Businesses

Ceiling LED Panel Lights for Businesses

Does your business still use fluorescent lights? Your office lighting can be causing eye strain, headaches, and absenteeism, but there’s an easy fix: replace fluorescent fixtures with ceiling LED panel lights. Give your office a modern update while providing a more comfortable and productive work environment for employees. These fixtures are ideal for a wide range of applications including offices, schools, hospitals, and retail stores. Here are some of the benefits of choosing ceiling LED panel lights:

Exceptional Savings

One of the biggest draws of ceiling LED panel lights is the ability to outlast and outperform fluorescent fixtures. LED panel fixtures consume less energy, putting money back into your budget. Since these fixtures operate using LED diodes there are no tubes to replace, reducing maintenance and installation costs. Many ceiling LED panel lights carry Design Lights Consortium (DLC) standard and premium certifications. Fixtures that meet DLC standards have been tested to meet high performance and efficiency guidelines and can qualify for rebates.

Better Quality Light

Unlike fluorescents, ceiling LED panels achieve full brightness instantly without needing a warmup time and use reflective materials to make the light output brighter. Prismatic lenses are also used to distribute light more evenly, reducing glare and allowing you to light a room with fewer fixtures. These fixtures can also affect the overall work environment by utilizing specific color temperatures (the color of the light emitted). Measured in Kelvin, different color temperatures can affect your work space in different ways:

  • 3500K light creates a warm inviting atmosphere that is a good choice for retail store, hotels, and other hospitality applications.
  • 4000K light helps reduce eye strain and is ideal for offices, classrooms, and libraries.
  • 5000K light improves visibility and alertness, making it suitable for hospitals and auditoriums.

Control Options

Many ceiling panels are dimmable, allowing you to customize the light output as needed. Connect your lighting to compatible motion sensors to keep the lights on only when someone is using the room. Warehouses and storage rooms especially benefit from motion sensors since employees may have hands full and are unable to easily control the lights when coming or going. Don’t get fined for forgetting emergency lighting. Let an account manager know how many fluorescent emergency lights need replacing and we’ll help you find the appropriate LED panel lights with integrated emergency battery backup to provide up to 90 minutes of light during a power outage.

Easy Installation

Designed to be lightweight, ceiling LED panel lights can be installed by a single person to a T-bar grid. For added convenience when replacing multiple fixtures, many of our LED panel lights are sold in packs. Some panels have additional mounting options. Fixtures that can be suspended are hung from the ceiling using cables. Select fixtures can be paired with kits for mounting to a dry wall ceiling.

LED panel lights also carry certifications from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Edison Testing Laboratories (ETL), and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) that tell where a fixture can be safely used. Fixtures rated for indoor or dry locations should not be installed in areas where there may be moisture or water present. LED panel lights rated for damp locations can be used around moisture but should not come in direct contact with water.
