This new design will likely help people feel even better about upgrading their lighting as the design of these new bulbs makes them look even closer to the incandescent bulbs they'll replacing than their current LED bulbs. They are still rated to last you well over 20 years* and will continue to cost you under $2** a year to operate.
They also will continue to be UL Damp Rated which is great if you’re planning on using these outdoors but not subjecting them to direct contact to the elements.
It’s important to note that while many specs have remained the same there are several changes outside of the new look incorporated into their new products versus their predecessor.
