What is PLT PremiumSpec?

The newly launched PLT PremiumSpec brand offers high-end, commercial-grade fixtures. What sets these fixtures apart from other PLT offerings is their wide range of features. Most PLT PremiumSpec fixtures have selectable color temperature or wattage, allowing you to determine the desired output during installation. You can go back later and adjust the settings as your space’s needs change.

PremiumSpec fixtures are also made using high-grade materials and utilize high-end LED chips such has Philips Lumileds and Bridgelux. These improved materials and chips allow for higher lumen output and extended fixture life.  Some fixtures have both direct and indirect lighting, a feature that is quickly growing in popularity. Indirect lighting aims light up at the ceiling, reducing cave effect and helping make rooms appear brighter overall.

Another major feature is their appearance. All of these fixtures are designed with a premium aesthetic, giving them a more modern appearance. This allows them to fit seamlessly into any location requiring a more decorative or architectural look. Several PLT PremiumSpec fixtures are DLC 5.1 Premium certified, qualifying them for state or local rebates. Other certifications and ratings include NSF/ANSI Standard 2 Food Service and Class 1 Div 2.
