PLT Solutions LED Barn Lights

Barn lights are a fairly common fixture. They can be found anywhere we need security, maybe at your personal property with a barn, or an attached garage, or any place where you just need an added layer of security. Older HID fixtures a large, heavy, and use a lot of energy. If you are looking to upgrade to more efficient lights, PLT Solutions has you covered with their new, lighter LED barn lights.

There are two offerings that PLT Solutions can provide for you. The first one is a 40-Watt LED barn light. This one has about 5,200 lumens and is equal to a 150 to 175 Watt metal halide fixture. The second one, it's big brother, is an 80-Watt LED barn light that produces 10,400 lumens and is a 250 Wall metal halide equivalent. Both of these fixtures are 4000 Kelvin.

Lightweight

One of the benefits of using these LED barn lights as opposed to the older legacy style HID fixtures is simply the weight of the fixture. Both fixtures are very lightweight, even when attached to pole. The 40-Watt fixture weights around 2 pounds, while the 80-Watt fixture weights around 3.6 pounds. This makes for a very easy one-person installation, which goes a long way into a do-it-yourself mentality.

Mounting

Now when it comes to mounting, these LED barn lights are very easy to work with. The mounting bracket allows them to be mounted two ways, either to a pole or directly to a wall. The bracket is universal, lowing the fixture to fit on any pole without needing any adapters. There is also a smaller panel that is used to cover any openings or exposed wires.

Photocell

Another great aspect of these lights is it comes with an integrated photocell. There's absolutely no need to have any additional wiring done. So these lights are only going to come on when the sun goes down, and they're going to turn off when the sun comes back up. So it gives you that extra added layer of efficiency as well.
