Temporary Work Light Stringers

For years, the workhorse in the temporary lighting industry has been a product just like this 100-foot stringer. This particular stringer is made with a heavy duty 14-gauge cord, and has a 15-amp plug with matching receptacle. The receptacle allows you to extend these end-to-end depending on what wattage light bulb you're going to use. The stringers also come with medium E26 based sockets, each protected with a cage that helps ensure sure your light bulb doesn't get broken in any situation.

Another benefit of these cages is that you don't need any additional tools to change a light bulb. You can just pinch the clasp to easily open the cage and access the socket. Simply take out the old bulbs and put the new one in. Then close it back up and your good to go. These cages are also replaceable and can be bought individually.

As far as what light bulbs you can use, the medium base socket and cage will accommodate an A19 up to an A23. You can use an incandescent light bulb. You can also upgrade to an LED if you wanted to go ahead and save some energy.

LED Work Light Stringer

Now if you wanted to upgrade to an integrated LED version of the traditional stringer, we can certainly accommodate that as well. The LED work light stringer comes in a 50-foot, five integrated LED lamp system. Like the traditional stringer, this system has both a male plug and a female plug that lets you connect up to 8 stringers together into one run. Each 10-Watt lamp delivers an output similar to a 100-Watt incandescent lamp, and are spaced 10 feet apart along the wire. Producing 6000 lumens of 5000 Kelvin light, this stinger is guaranteed to give you a nice, crisp, and well lit workspace.

Adjustable LED High Bay Temporary Work Light Fixture

For areas that are larger and more expansive, traditionally you would have gone with a 400 Watt or 250 Watt metal halide temporary light. Now, PLT Solutions can offer you a 100-Watt adjustable LED panel fixture. This fixture features 5 light panels: four adjustable side panels and one round panel on the bottom. Delivering 12,000 lumens of 5000 Kelvin light, this fixture definitely gives you a lot more bang for your buck.

Each fixture has a 5-foot cord with both a male and female plug, allowing you do daisy chain up to seven fixtures together to efficiently cover a large area. Connecting these fixtures together is simple. Plug the male end of one fixture into the female end of the other fixture, then hang the fixture using the sturdy built-in hooks. There will be about six feet of separation between fixtures. Having seven connected together will give you 84,000 lumens, separated over about for 45 to 50-foot area.

Adjusting the panels is very easy. You might want to have a full 180-degrees of light shining straight down, or you might be in a situation where you need to get that distribution a little bit wider. Just adjust the panels up or down to the angle you need them. Once in place, they're not going anywhere. The panels can also be left fully closed, giving you 360-degrees of illumination. So it really is a full complement, perfect for any situation.
